Since 2012, BEERS London has rapidly forged an international reputation for itself as one of London’s lead, forward-thinking gallery spaces. The gallery works with both emerging and mid-career artists to present an exhibition programme that is dedicated to the exploration of diverse thematic, aesthetic, and political concepts, while highlighting an approach to contemporary art that is both progressive and thought-provoking. In 2016, the gallery - owned and operated by Canadian Kurt Beers - began to shift its focus to represent its Canadian identity; today the gallery maintains a maintains a roster of artists that includes leading Canadian contemporary artists like Kim Dorland, Kathryn MacNaughton, Andy Dixon, Andrew Salgado and Gord Bond. 

The gallery has participated in a number of international art fairs including Zona Maco (Mexico City), Artissima (Torino, IT), Expo Chicago (Chicago) and Untitled (Miami) among others. In 2014, Director Kurt Beers authored 100 Painters of Tomorrow, published by Thames & Hudson, which was adjudicated by a number of leading figures in the arts and remains one of the key resources to world’s most exciting emerging painters. The follow-up, 100 Sculptors of Tomorrow is currently scheduled for release in early 2019 and, once again, includes a jury of renowned international experts in their respective fields. 

In 2016 & 2015, BEERS London was listed in Blouin Media’s ‘500 Best Galleries Worldwide’ and in 2015 Director Kurt Beers was included in ArtLyst’s ‘Alternative Power 100’.
